I am wondering what GPU hardware would be required to run an OpenFoam case with 40m (40.000.000) cells?
I assume menory will be the bottleneck but I don’t know enough about GPU computing to come up with an estimate.
Could mixed precision help to reduce the requirements?
this depends a lot on your specific case. There is no general rule on memory consumption for 40M cells.
